Feraro, Tony President and CEO of Concord Bank, passed away Wednesday (May 16, 2012). He was 64 years old. Tony is remembered as a loving husband, proud father and loyal friend. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kathy, his sons, Michael, Jonathan and Scott, his daughters, Sophie and Cindy, his mother, Raphaella, and sister, Roberta. Tony was happiest and at his best when serving his community and surrounded by his loving family and friends. He will be inestimably missed and forever remembered for his kindness, love, generosity, and humor. Tony was a vital member of the St. Louis community for decades. His generosity benefitted local organizations such as the Concord Village Lions Club, Nurses for Newborns, College Bound, Concord Elementary School, Fish for Sight and Harris House. In his four years as president and CEO, Tony led the recovery and growth of Concord Bank, and made the company an influential part of the local community. Tony spent more than 25 years in the banking industry, and dedicated his career to taking banks, financial-services companies, and their customers to the highest levels of success. He joined Concord Bank from Silvergate Bank in La Jolla, Calif., where he had been chief executive since 2006. Previously he had been a bank consultant and had served as chief executive of Unity Bank Corp. in Clinton, N.J. He worked in St. Louis from 1984 to 1995 as president of a division of ITT Financial. Tony proudly served in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.
