Born March 3, 1925. Passed away April 7, 2014, Tony lived his entire life in Sacramento, CA. Preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Theresa Viegas, brothers and sister. He is survived by only remaining brother Eli Viegas, step-son Richard (Mariam) Hilliard, son Larry (Jackie) Viegas, daughters Lynnda (Ken) Satterson, Bridget Jacobo and Shawnda (Tony) Cardenas, many grandchildren and even more great grandchildren. Tony was a member of the Elks Lodge, American Portuguese Club, Southside Improvement Club & the Over the Hill Gang. Tony was the former president of the South Sacramento Babe Ruth League and a bowling fanatic. He will be missed by all. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from 4:00PM with Rosary beginning at 7:00PM at George L. Klumpp Chapel of Flowers, 2691 Riverside Blvd., Sacramento, CA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 11, 2014 at 10:00AM at St. Elizabeth's Church, 1817 12th Street, Sacramento, CA. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Avenue, Sacramento, CA. immediately following the service.
