Born 3/22/23 on a farm near Prairie City, Mo. Passed 8/6/2014. He was the 4th born of what was to be 11 children. Served WWII in the Army Air Corps as a Flight Engineer. He met and married his wife Dorothy while serving at March Field. He went on to graduate from seminary which followed with his return to military service as an Army Chaplain. As a Chaplain, Harry served in Southern California, Germany, Sacramento (Sacramento Army Depot), Thailand Texas, Vietnam and Colorado. He retired as Major Chaplain Doctor Harry Bearce. Sacramento became home base after serving at the Army Depot. Harry and Dorothy returned home to Sacramento where he continued his counseling career which was initiated with Grace Fellowship following his departure from the military. Following Dorothy's passing in 1990, Harry spent several years on the staff of the Union Gospel Mission. In August of 2007 Harry and Georgy Gillis married and spent five wonderful years together in prayerful support of those surrounding them. Harry leaves behind a brother, LeRoy and 2 sisters, Ruby and Ethel. Children, Doug (Robin). Greg (Yevette), Sheryl. 6 grandchildren and greatgrandchildren
