James Frank Cermak, 72, of Roseville, CA, peacefully passed away in his sleep in his home on Friday, December 13, 2013. He proudly served in the United States Air Force as a B-52 G Navigator from 1965-1970, both at Beale Air Force Base and Mather Air Force Base. He attained the rank of Captain and completed a tour of duty in the Vietnam War before being honorably discharged. He then worked for Sacramento County Environmental Health for the next 29 years, retiring in 2000. Jim's wife of 46 years passed away on November 18, 2013. He is survived by his son, Scott (Martine); his grandson Wyatt; and his daughter, Andrea (Jeff). As per his wishes, no public services will be held. A celebration of life will be held in January 2014. Remembrance can be made to and/or church. All those whom he touched will miss him dearly.
