CARPENTER, Capt James J.
USAF WW2 Veteran with 26 years of honorable service.

Served through WW2, Korean War and Vietnam Born April 16, 1920 in Troy, Illinois to parents James and Georgette Carpenter, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2013 in Sacramento California. James loved airplanes and as a Navigator he flew many dangerous missions in the B36 and B52 Bombers. After serving his country so proudly, he served his community proudly over the next years as a long time member of the Sacramento Ben Ali Shriners and the Roseville Elks Lodge #2248. James was a very hard working man and an entrepreneur who had many successful endeavors after his retirement from the Air Force. He never met a person he could not befriend, a process he could not improve on or a product he could not sell.
He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Evie Carpenter; his five children Jodie, Dawn, Janice, Jim and Chuck; and his sister Alice J. Queen. He was honored in life and honored in his passing, and will be honored and cherished by all who knew him.
