GIRARD, Lewis 'Lew' Victor Passed away on June 21, 2014. Born Dec. 21, 1929 in Martinez CA. Eldest son of Serj and Marybelle Girard and brother to Donald of Castroville Ca. Lew, a man of many talents obtained Business and Geological Engineering degrees at UC Berkeley and a Masters In Engineering from University of Idaho at Moscow, Idaho. Later received a Law degree from Lincoln Law School, San Francisco. Lew was an Officer In the US Navy and served on the USS Baltimore and the USS Watts. His Geological and Engineering expertise took him to many international destinations and after many years abroad Lew worked at home. He retired in 1990 after 20 years as an Attorney for the State of CA. Dept. of Corportions. An avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. Lew was a firearms expert and reloador, played bridge and duplicate bridge. He had a wicked sense of humor. Predeceased by his beloved wife Chris who passed away In 2009. Lew leaves behind a wide range of close friends and extended family. A unparalled ability to relate his incredible life experiences, Lew will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege to know and love him. 'This is Lew out' No services. Lew will be laid to rest in the family mausoleum in Lafayette, CA. Private Celebration of life later.
