BRACAMONTE, Martin Cota

Our beloved father passed peacefully in his home May 29, 2014 at age 92. Martin was born November 11, 1921, in Scottsdale, Arizona to Guadalupe and Brigida Bracamonte. Preceded in death by his wife, Olivia, brothers Cruz, Frank, Manuel and Alvardo. Survived by his sister Rosario and children Tony (Kathy), Graciela, Anita, Lupe, Angela, Monica (Oscar) and Martin Victor. He was grandfather (Tata) to 20 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 8 great great-grandchildren. He was a WWII Veteran. An avid baseball player and fan, he was in many leagues throughout his life up to age 79. In 1994 he was an inductee into the Mexican - American Hall ot Fame. In 2001 he received a Life Membership Award from the Sacramento Golden Seniors Softball Club. He retired from Campbell Soup Company after 37 years. He was a great Father, Brother, Tio and Tata with a smile that could charm anyone. He will be missed by many but we know we will see him and Mom again one day. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of His Life. Viewing on Tuesday June 10, 4:00pm, Rosary 7:00pm at George L. Klumpp, 2691 Riverside Blvd. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday June 11 at 10.00am at St, Rose Church, 5961 Franklin Blvd. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave. Reception to follow from 12:30pm - 3:00pm at St. Rose Church, Kavanaugh Center/Cypress Rm.
