1946-2012 Matthew Mesplou passed away September 26, 2012 after a long illness. Matt was an adoring husband of sixteen years to wife Kristine. A committed family man he was a loving father to sons Tim (Shannon) of Santa Barbara, Joel of San Jose, and stepson Gregory Stockman of Auburn. He leaves three daughters, Christy Zeegen of Pacific Palisades, Kelli Luck (Dave) of Pleasanton and Elizabeth Mesplou of San Francisco. He was a devoted grandfather to Jeanette, Shane, Jake, Zachary, Julia, Jackson and Helena. Served in the US Army from 1966 to 1969, with duty in Vietnam. A 23-year resident of Sacramento, Matt had a distinguished career in information technology and the property management and mortgage business. After retirement Matt volunteered as a VFW Service Representative, advocating for veterans. Matt will be deeply missed by his family and friends for his sense of humor, warmth, generosity and concern for others. Graveside services will be private. A celebration of Matt's life to be announced at a later date.
