NYQUIST, Wesley M.
Oct. 28, 1930 - April 11, 2014
Moved to CA from Rockford Ill. in 1945, graduating from Grant Union High School in 1948. Wes Served in US Navy 1951-1953. Upon his honorable discharge he married his sweetheart Mary Ann Clifford they were married 60 years.
Wes lived his life serving the Lord and helping others. He and Mary Ann were faithful members of The Church of the Foothills in Cameron Park He was loved by all and will be dearly missed. He leaves behind a legacy of gentleness, kindness, generosity and a great smile.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann and 4 children; Evonne Nyquist-Farquhar of Rocklin (James Farquhar) Vickie Nyquist-Walthall of Bozeman, MT (Randy Walthall), Tim Nyquist of Bolivia S.A. (Holly Nyquist) and Ron Nyquist of Placerville (Chris Nyquist), and his older brother Gene Nyquist of San Jose. He leaves 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held, Saturday, April 26 at 1:00 pm at the Church of the Foothills in Cameron Park. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Gideon's. www.gideons.org or you may give to the Benevolent funds at the Church of the Foothills.
