Bill, 86, passed away January 11, 2014 at home. Born Dec. 19, 1927 in Camden , New Jersey, Bill was a graduate of Sacramento State College in 1952, and a retired teacher of Roseville School District. Bill was a former member of the Roseville Lions Club and a member of the Elks Lodge #2103 of Carmichael. Preceded in death by Becky, his wife of 55 years; his son Arthur Morr; and his grandson Craig Morr. Survived by his daughter, Holly Shiffler (Scott) of Colorado Springs; grandaughter Shannon Pierce (Tyler) of Citrus Heights; and grandsons Colby Shiffler of Colorado Springs and James Morr (Lauren) of Portland, Oregon. Greatgrandfather of Chloe and Hayden Pierce. Also survived by sister Betty Morr of Auburn and brother Augustus Morr (Mary-Alice) of Sacramento. Memorial Services to be held for Bill, Becky, and Art on March 15, 2014, 11:00 AM, at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 4706 Arden Way. Memorial contributions may be made to the local SPCA, and the Sac State Memorial Fund, c/o Development Office-Attn: Marisa Rollin, 6000 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95819-6030.
