WARD, RICHARD N. "DICK" Saginaw, Michigan Formerly of Venice Florida Passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013. Age 69 years. The son of the late Norbert L. and Verna E. (Peters) Ward was born May 3, 1944 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a graduate of Michigan State University. He married Susan M. Ruzowski, July 25, 1983. She survives him. He was employed in Management in the Building Supply Industry, retiring in 2012. Mr and Mrs. Ward had made their home in Venice, Florida for many years. Surviving besides his wife, Susan, are two sons and their wives, Jeffrey and Bridget Ward; Michael and Hope Ward; four grandchildren, Mitchell, Madeline, Meridith and Clara; two sisters and their husbands, Nancy and Tom Moyer; Sharon and Gary Briggs; two brothers-in-law, Gary Ruzowski and Nan; Andrew and Nancy Ruzowski; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Susan Anderson and a brother, Nicholas Ward. In accordance with Mr. Ward's wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held.
