SALISBURY - Bradley MacNeil Smith, 55, of Salisbury, passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, at his residence.
He was born Aug. 26, 1958, in New Haven, Conn., the son of the late Doris MacNeil Smith and Rodney Arthur Smith.
Bradley was a graduate of Marple-New Town High School and Rowan Technical Institute. He was a "Jack of all trades," working as a carpenter and a mechanic. Bradley was a member of Salisbury Elks Lodge.
In addition to his parents, preceding him in death were his in-laws, Thelma Marshall and Adrian Bach.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, JoAnna Bach Smith of Salisbury, who he married Sept. 10, 1999; stepson Jimmy Burnett (Molly) of Ohio; stepdaughters Cristi Burnett of Louisiana and Carrie Moore (Bradley) of Salisbury; brother Rodney Smith Jr. (Mary Lou) of New York; grandchildren Brittany Carr, Braeden Moore, Natalee Lynn, Kenedy Moore, Parker Moore, David Burnett,and Shannon Burnett; and great-grandchild Zaylee Martin.
Visitation: 3-4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 at Phaniel Baptist Church, 2685 Phaniel Church Road, Rockwell, NC 28138.
Service: 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19 at Phaniel Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Taylor officiating. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Phaniel Baptist Church, 2685 Phaniel Church Road, Rockwell, NC 28138; or Rowan Hospice & Palliative Care, 720 Grove St., Salisbury, NC 28144.
