SPENCER - Hollan Lentz Dukelow, 90, of Spencer, went home to be with the Lord Monday, Dec. 9, 2013, at his home.
Born Dec. 21, 1922, in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Mabel Ruth Lentz Dukelow and Clarence Robert Dukelow.
He was educated in Salisbury schools and graduated from Boyden High School. Mr. Dukelow was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during World War II.
A brick contractor, he was employed for the City of Salisbury before retiring.
He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Men's Sunday School Class.
Preceding him in death were his first wife, Ruth Loflin Dukelow, on Aug. 17, 1995; and his second wife, Nancy Seamon Dukelow, on Nov. 29, 2003.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Diane Lyerly and husband Danny of Spencer; son Daryl Dukelow and wife Linda of Salisbury; stepsons Danny Lee Seamon and wife Susan of Concord and Rev. Terry Linn Seamon and wife Becky of Locust; three grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. Wednesday in the church sanctuary.
Service: Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday (Dec. 11) at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Rick Cockerham and Rev. Terry L. Seamon officiating. Interment will follow at Rowan Memorial Park.
