SALISBURY - Marie Hartman Fisher, 89, of Salisbury, joined her loving husband and family in heaven on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at the Lutheran Home at Trinity Oaks.
She was born March 2, 1923, in Rowan County to the late Walter G. Hartman and Minnie Misenheimer Hartman.
She was preceded in death by husband David J. Fisher; daughter Nancy Fisher Holloway; brother Robert D. Hartman; and sister Doris Stiller.
Marie was a former member of Women of the Moose, Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of Landmark Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons Bob (Meta) Fisher of Salisbury and Don (Alisa) Fisher of Denton; grandchildren Bobby (Beth) Fisher of Monroe, Stacy (Jason) McCoy of Troutman, Honey Lynn Fisher of Salisbury, Tina H. (Chris) McCall of Shallotte, Leslie A. (Jeff) Rushing of Matthews, Jena Fisher of Salisbury, Tyler Fisher of Salisbury and David Fisher of Denton; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 1-2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at HillCreek Worship Center, 8482 Hwy. 52, Rockwell, NC 28138.
Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at HillCreek Worship Center, the Pastor Charles White officiating. Burial to follow at Kannapolis City Cemetery.
