Mark Ethan Stewart

KANNAPOLIS - Mark Ethan Alexander Stewart, 10, of Kannapolis, died Sunday, Apr. 10, 2013.

Born in Lexington on July 15, 2002, Mark was the son of Christi Reist Stewart. He attended the 5th grade at Royal Oaks Elementary School in Kannapolis and was a member of the Tall Tines Hunting Club. Mark was looking forward to playing football this fall with the Carolina Bears. Mark's greatest ambition was to become a police officer to catch the bad guys.

Besides his mother, Mark is survived by his brother CJ; maternal grandparents, Guy and Brenda Reist; great-grandmother Delana Ray; uncle Bubba Reist, as well as seven aunts, seven uncles and several cousins.

Services: A private graveside service will be held. The family has requested that the media respect and honor their wishes for privacy.

Memorials: A memorial may be made to the Mark Ethan Stewart Memorial Fund through any Wells Fargo Branch.
