Brent LaMar Plott|
6/2/1931 ~ 1/22/2014
Our Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather passed away January 22, 2014 of natural causes, due to his age. Dad was born June 2, 1931 in Murray, Utah to Millius and Wilma Plott. Dad went to Murray High and after graduation joined the Navy where he served in the Korean War as a Diesel Mechanic on an ammunition ship. After serving his country for four years, he spent the rest of his career in the Trucking Industry, starting as a Truck Driver with Dunkley Trucking and then Dispatching. Dad loved golf and walking, but his greatest joy was being with his children and grandchildren; they were the light of his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Claire Aschcroft Plott; his parents; and his brother, Leon. He is survived by his children, Brenda, (Dave), Robyn, Brian and Ted; his grandchildren, Cody, Luke, Jessica, Keith and Heather; and 10 great grandchildren; his sisters, Raeola (Alan) and Camille (Keith).
Dad you will be truly missed and you were so loved by one and all and we appreciate all the happy memories we will carry with us always.
Brent and his family would like to thank the staff at Hunter Hollow for all of their love and support the past few years, and a special "Thank You to Kari Daugherty" for going the extra mile and really loving our family. Also to all the Care Source staff for making his final days comfortable and cared for.
A Memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, with a visitation from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Interment: Murray City Cemetery.
