DeLoy Evans was born December, 13, 1932 in Kamas, Utah, the son of Bernard Edward Evans and Olive May Carpentar Evans. He was the youngest of six children. He passed away March 10, 2014.
DeLoy attended school in Kamas and graduated from South Summit High School in 1952. He then joined the Army and served his country honorably from 1952-1955.
DeLoy met the love of his life, Sharon Butters, in 1955 and they were married March 16, 1957. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Erma, Dorreen and Dena; brother, James; and baby daughter, Paula Mae. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Lee (Savonnah) and Tracy; daughters, Kimberli (Park) and Penny (Kirk); 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Owen (Buleah).
CORRECTION OF TIMES: Funeral Services will be Friday, March 14, 2014, at 12 NOON at the Riverside 1st Ward, 5425 S. Allendale Drive (600 W.), with a viewing prior to services from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Heber City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
