Frank Henry Lloyd Jr.
"Together Forever"
Salt Lake City, UT-Our dad, grandpa, great grandpa, great-great grandpa, friend and neighbor, Frank Henry Lloyd, Jr., age 92, passed away peacefully at home October 21, 2013. He was born November 24, 1920 to Frank Henry Lloyd, Sr. & Irene Baer in Salt Lake City, Utah. He served in the Army Air Corps in North Africa and Italy during World War II. He married Edith Gregory December 27, 1942 in Cutbank, Montana. They were sealed in the LDS temple March 1957. He retired from the US Postal Service as a letter carrier, and also from the Utah State Liquor Commission. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping, boating, & hunting, but his greatest joy was his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife Edith, sister Betty Kilpack, and granddaughter Julie Butcher. Survived by 7 children: Sharon (Eddie) Butcher, Gary (Barbara), Doug (Mitzi), Shauna (Craig) Ball, Cindy (Kevin) Pratt, Jim (Julie), Greg (Kelly); 43 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, & 11 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing on Thursday, October 24, 2013 from 6-8:00 pm at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan. Graveside service will be Friday, October 25, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Redwood Memorial Park with a viewing one hour prior to the service. Thanks to Becca, Trudy, Michele, and Mike at Advocate Hospice for their loving care of Dad.
