1956 - 2014 | Obituary Condolences
Kirt Buddy Hutchings
1956 - 2014
Kirt Buddy Hutchings, 58, passed away on March 26, 2014 from complications following a medical procedure and kidney failure.
Kirt is survived by his mother Gloria "Gail" Sperry-Hutchings and his feline (cat) companion Speck Hutchings.
Kirt was an avid martial artist and received black belts in multiple styles including Kenpo Karate and Kung Fu. In his youth he was an ultimate fighter, before ultimate fighting was invented. Mostly, he preferred quiet solitude and peacefulness. Kirt was an artistic genius when it came to playing the lead guitar. He fascinated audiences with his magical six string instrument the Fender Stratocaster. His life and his music were simpatico, ROCK AND ROLL. He served our country in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge. During the course of his service he sustained an injury which left him with pain, which he boar throughout his life, honorably. Kirt also enjoyed serving veterans as an employee at the VA Hospital.
"For those of you who were my friends thank you. For those of you who pretended to be my friends, thank you. For those of you who judged me and spoke poorly of me during my life, I forgive you. I will see you on the flip side". ~Kirt~
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salt Lake City VA Medical Center in Kirt Hutching's honor. Please reference on check "GPF 1033, Patient Fund". These funds will go directly to other deserving veteran's needs.
