1926 ~ 2013
LeRae Findlay Hulbert of Salt Lake City passed away on September 20, 2013 at her home. Lee was born on December 21, 1926 to Sandall Ford Findlay and Rachel Porter Smith Findlay in Kanab, Utah. After finishing high school in Kanab she attended the University of Utah where she was a member of Chi Delta Phi and Alpha Delta Pi sorority. After graduating she worked as a high school teacher and married Hal Hulbert. Lee and Hal were later divorced. Lee was a vivacious, outgoing person and an avid golfer. She was known for her musical and artistic abilities and as an enthusiastic Utah Jazz fan.
Lee is survived by her sister Kelva Findlay Frailey of Alexandra, Virginia; niece Pamela Frailey Faggert (Donald) of Montpelier, Virginia; nephew William Scott Frailey (Oralia) of Friendswood, Texas; great-niece Sarah Faggert and great-nephews Samuel Faggert, Christopher Frailey and Matthew Frailey.
The family will welcome friends at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Salt Lake City, on Wednesday, October 9 from 1 to 2 pm. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm.
