1923 ~ 2013
LeRoy Denner, 89, was born on July 8, 1923 in Frankfort, Ross Co., Ohio to Marion and Rosetta Wilson Denner. He married Beth Ericson November 12, 1942 in Evanston, Wyoming. He passed away at home on June 14, 2013 at 11:35 a.m. with his wife of 70 years and their four children at his side.
LeRoy was inducted into the Army in World War II. He served in the Medical field at Fort Douglas Hospital. He then worked in the Motor Winding business then became a Master Electrician where he worked through the I.B.E.W. Local 354 for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Beth and his children, William (Beth), Robert, Nora Sheffield (Kent) and Kevin (Barbara). He has 12 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, one brother and a granddaughter, Julie Gae McCain.
We would like to thank the staff of Haven Hospice and his doctor, Dr. Rahimi, for their tender care.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, at the Sugarhouse Stake Center, 1679 South 1100 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. Viewings will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Friday evening at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah, and one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment, Mount Olivet Cemetery.
