August 29, 1965~May 22, 2013
Our beloved wife, mother, sister and friend Peggy returned Home to the Lord on May 22, 2013 after a courageous 13 - year battle with breast cancer. She passed away peacefully at her home in Lehi, UT surrounded by her family and loving friends.
Peggy was born August 29, 1965 in Bayshore, NY and is survived by seven brothers and sisters. In 1987, Peggy married her sweetheart, Robert Carlson. They were happily married for 26 years and have three children; Rebecca (age 20), Meghan (age 19), and Bobby (age 17). The Carlson family moved from Long Island, NY to Utah in 2003.
Peggy was employed at the Internal Revenue Service for 18 years prior to to her illness. Peggy was an active member of the Catholic Church, and was a past President of the St Peter Council of Catholic Women in American Fork as well as St. Peter's Woman Of The Year for 2011.
Peggy will be remembered by those she left behind as a person who loved to laugh and make everyone around her laugh. She was as beautiful inside as she was on the outside; always looking out for the children and her friends and family. The courage, faith, dignity and inner strength she showed during her long struggle with cancer were an inspiration to all. She will be greatly missed, and never forgotten.
