Regina Ann Sorensen Obituary

Regina Ann Sorensen returned to her heavenly home on November 21, 2012 at the age of 34. She was traveling home for Thanksgiving when another vehicle crossed over into her lane where they met in a head-on collision.
Regina was born in Tacoma, Washington, February 25, 1978, to Duane James and Katherine Sue Deibert Sorensen. She graduated from Cottonwood High where she played the clarinet, ran track and received an award for not missing a day of school from elementary to high school. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree and continued on to Arizona State University where she graduated with a master's degree in Social Work and Human Services. Regina was a temple worker at the Provo Temple, served as a visiting teacher and served in Relief Society Presidencies. Regina would not go a week without going to the temple.
She is survived by her parents; siblings, Becky and Shane Roberts, Roxanne Sorensen, Jennifer Palmer, Kendall and Crystal Sorensen, Megan and Juan Munoz and Joshua Sorensen; grandparents, James and Claudia Sorensen, Shirley Peck and Jack Deibert.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Peggy Sorensen and niece, Amelia Sorensen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 1st at the LDS Church, 5823 So. Cougar Lane, Kearns, Utah. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6 - 8 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 So. Redwood Rd. and one hour prior to services at the church.
