SLC/Price, UT - Ronald D Barnson age 56, passed away Sunday May 12, 2013 in St.George, Utah after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Salt Lake City, Ut on December 6, 1956 to his mother Joan D Casper (Barnson) and father Ron Casper, then adopted and raised by Earl C Barnson later in 1963.
Growing up on the farm with his two brothers and family was one of Ron's favorite memories. He knew how to make anybody laugh with his funny jokes or stories he would tell. Ron and his brother John stuck by each other's side like strong brothers do through some fun times, tough times, and courageous times. He had a very special spot in his heart for his son Josh and grandson Blade and made many memories with the two of them. Ron had many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews that he loved being around and teasing each one of them. He loved all his foster siblings and friends very much. If you knew Ron he had a passion for Asian women, old cars and loved his best friend, Gunny, that was by his side every hour of the day.
Ron enlisted in the US Army in 1983, served in the Desert Storm then later discharged in 2006.
Survived by John Barnson (Debbra), Josh Covert (son), Blade Covert (grandson), Marie Bacca (step sister) and Gunny (mans best friend).
Preceded in death by Joan D Barnson (mother), Ron Casper (father), Earl C Barnson (Dad), Dennis Barnson (brother), and many more loving family members.
Ron would like to give a very special thank you to Sgt. Lee and the Service members.
