Our Beloved cousin, brother, uncle and father, Tally James Paulos passed away May, 30 2013, in Nixa, Missouri after a battle with cancer. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah May, 30 1947 to James A. and Harriet Floor Paulos. Tally grew up in Tooele, Utah and attended Tooele High School. Tally had many friends and family that loved him dearly. He could cheer anyone up and loved being the comedian. He was also an accomplished drummer, playing with many local bands in Tooele and the Salt Lake Area. He had many passions, including Corvettes, motorcycles and hunting and fishing with family. But Tally's greatest passion was film and television. Starting with the mini-series "Shogun" in 1980 Tally's talent with sound editing won him praise and numerous honors. With over 40 titles to his credit as Audio Director, Sound Effects Editor and Dialog Director; Tally garnished seven Emmy nominations and winning two Prime-time Emmy Awards. He also worked on such films as "The Wedding Singer," "Joe Versus the Volcano," "The Mighty," "Mr. Nice Guy," with Jackie Chan. Tally is survived by one daughter Krystal Paulos, of Tustin, CA. One Brother, George (Kathy) Paulos, of Orange County CA. and Sister Elly Paulos of Salt Lake City; and nieces and nephews Jim, Jayme, Mario and Anthony.
As per his request a private graveside service will be held at Mt. Olivet cemetery in Salt Lake City, Utah on Friday June 14th.
