Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend Thomas L. Troske slipped away peacefully July 15, 2013, with his family by his side. Tom was born December 16, 1946 to Mildred and Lester Troske in Grand Junction, CO.
He moved with his family to Salt Lake City. He served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. He met Marja Sevenants in 1971. They were married on April 22, 1972 and together raised three wonderful children and shared over 41 years together. Tom started his career at the Salt Lake International Airport in 1970 mowing lawns and retired in 2001 as the Director.
He was a man who valued his life long relationships with his friends. He was a proud father to his sons Tommy and Chris and he adored his sweetie Melissa. He doted on his grandchildren and made memories that will last a lifetime.
He will be missed by his devoted wife Marja; children Tommy (Genevieve), Christopher, and Melissa; grandchildren Ty, Julie Anne, Hailey and Teller; loving sisters JoAnn (Buzz) Larson, Mary (Dave) Bailey and Cathy Maez; loyal brother Henry; nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog Peanuts. Preceded in death by his parents and his cherished Sadie Dog.

A memorial service will be celebrated on Saturday, July 20th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 3015 Creek Road, Cottonwood Heights. Interment to follow at Mountain View Memorial Park, 3115 East 7800 South, Cottonwood Heights.
