William Roy Even, Sr|

Salt Lake City, UT-William Roy Even, Sr., loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, was born in Great Falls, Montana, the youngest of six children. He spent his youth in Great Falls and was drafted into the Army during WWII. He served in the European Theater with the 103rd Infantry Division, receiving three Purple Hearts. After the war, he married Chrystal Anderson in 1947. They were blessed with two children, Bill Jr. and Karen.
In 1968 the family moved to Salt Lake City, and Bill worked in kitchen remodeling and later in facilities maintenance at the University of Utah. He retired in 1988, and in retirement he enjoyed working on various home improvement projects. He was called to his heavenly home just before his 88th birthday.
Bill is survived by his wife, Chrystal, son Bill (Christa), daughter Karen (Jim), seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
