In retirement, Betty and her husband, Alvin, served lunch at the Fourth Street Inn, a ministry of the First Baptist Church of San Antonio where they were members for 60 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin August Jannasch and her brother, Frank Wichita. She is survived by her son, Robert Jannasch and wife, Shelley; daughter, Karen Kittrell and husband, Gary, grandchildren: Austin Kittrell and Collin Kittrell; sister, Allene Pearson; and many nieces and nephews.
