CLARK
Billy Ray Clark, born March 5, 1926, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 26, 2013 at the age of 87. He was a native and lifetime resident of San Antonio. Other than his family and friends, three things Billy was most proud of were his time at Burbank High School (class of 1944), his service in the US Navy during World War II and his years of service with Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a member of the Telephone Pioneers, the Bluebonnet Region Chevrolet Club and the Heart of Texas Packard Club. Billy was honored to be flown to Washington D.C. in the first group of veterans in the Alamo Honor Flight. His brother Weldon Clark preceded him in death. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years Beverly Clark, daughter Kathy Cox and husband Danny, grandchildren Julia Colvin and husband Nathan, Maeghan, Ethan, Boone, Cooper and Lily, sisters Marlene Halsey and Nancy Foster and her husband Burch, and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church.
