Charles Graeber Obituary
CWO Charles Robert "Bob" Graeber U.S. Army (RET.), beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, entered rest on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at the age of 87. Bob served his country honorably in the United States Army for 30 years. He served during World War II and completed two tours in Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, Air Medal and Meritorious Service Medal. Bob was a devoted husband and father and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 49 years, Dorothy D. Graeber and his daughter, Sherry Ellen Emerys. Bob is survived by his son, Robert Douglas Graeber; his daughter, Charlene Graeber Green and her husband Larry; granddaughter, Dorothy Christine Rowan and her partner C. J. Dambria; grandson, Robert David Graeber and his wife Amber; great-grandchildren, Kaiya Rei Graeber, Jayce Graeber, Aaron Austin and Holly Alfrey.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm, at Sunset Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, TX 78218. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 9:30am at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with honors.
