Clarence Wade Cameron, Jr. passed away on January 26, 2014, at the age of 92. Cameron, best known by his middle name Wade, was born in San Antonio, TX on September 18, 1921, to Sue Allen Cameron and Clarence Wade Cameron, Sr. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in San Antonio, TX in 1939. He later studied Engineering at the University of Texas before and after WWII. During WWII he flew P-51's with the famed 352nd Fighter Group stationed in Bodney, England. After the University of Texas he spent several years in the insurance business. Later he went into the copy machine business, which subsequently became the oldest independent copy dealership in San Antonio. After retirement he enjoyed Day Trading in the Stock Market. Cameron was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Cecilia Leutbecher Cameron. He is survived by his son, Clarence W. Cameron III, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.


Viewing for Mr. Cameron will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge, San Antonio, TX. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 at noon at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North with interment to follow at Mission Burial Park South.
