TREJO
Tech Sgt. Cruz (Big T) Trejo Ret. U.S.A.F., was called to his Lord on Sat. Aug. 2, 2014 at the age of 86 years with his family members at his bedside. Born April 1, 1928 in San Antonio, TX., Cruz attended Fox Tech High School where he played basketball and ran track. After he graduated High School, he entered the U.S. Air Force where he served for 20 years. Cruz loved the game of Men's Fastpitch. As a pitcher he pitched in several All Service world tournaments. He pitched a perfect game while stationed at Luke AFB. Cruz played for several teams in San Antonio. Cruz won the MVP in 1958 at the Annual Latin American Tournament in Houston, TX. and was inducted into the Rusk A.C. Hall of Fame in 2000. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Rosa Trejo. Sons, Roger (Carol), Ruben and Rene Trejo. 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Sisters, Irene Garza from Calif. and Bertha Mound from San Antonio. He will be missed by a great number of friends while playing sports in the Air Force and around the State. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday August 5, 2014 at 7:00 pm. at the Ortiz Mortuary Chapel. Funeral will be conducted on Wednesday August 6, 2014 with an 11:30 am departure for a 12:15 pm Mass of the Resurrection at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. ARRANGEMENTS WITH:
