MCCALLUM
(USAF, Ret.) Lt. Colonel Ewell Elliott McCallum, 82 passed away Thursday in Louisville KY. He was a graduate of the University of Louisville and received his MBA from Indiana University, served his country for 26 years in the USAF, was an Enrolled Agent, a 60 year master mason with St. Matthews Masonic Lodge, #906 KY, a master mason with the Victory Lodge, #1160 TX, and a member of the Alzafar Shrine and the Scottish Rite.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen M. McCallum in 2007.
He is survived by his wife; Maynette Smith McCallum, children; Timothy McCallum (Frankie), Mary McCallum (Roger Roberts), Christopher McCallum, Linda Boehle (Bruce), Maynette Smith (Leonard Duncil), Allison Jones (Brian), grandchildren; Aaron William Boehle, Benjamin Elliott Boehle, Ethan Duncil, Addison Bailey Jones and Bryce Jones.
Visitation with the family will be Friday January 24th from 6-9pm with a Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Saturday, January 25nd at St. Benedicts Catholic Church, 4835 Lord Road, San Antonio.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be given to the Wounded Warriors.
Burial will be in Zachary Taylor National Cemetery, Louisville KY with full military honors. www.RattermanS.com
