James "Jim" Buddemeyer went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, 08/27/14 at the age of 85. Husband to the late Marilyn H.Buddemeyer and father to sons; David J (Michele) and Mark Buddemeyer. James was a Veteran of US Air Force and of the Air Force Reserve (retired) as a SMSGT. He was also a member of the Valley Hi Masonic Lodge #1407 A.F. & A.M. and the Alzafar Shrine. Jim was born in 1929 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was trained as an aviation mechanic. Jim also was a draftsman/home designer in the home construction industry, where he worked for 20+ years before becoming a home inspector. He was president of Buddemeyer Inspections, Inc.. where he worked with his sons. Jim was a kind & generous man. He loved flying, airplanes, & animals. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either the
, the Wounded Warriors, or the Humane Society of Bexar County in Jim's memory. Visitation on Tuesday, 09/02/14 from 5:00PM -9:00Pm at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Funeral Service on Wednesday, 09/03/14 at 12:30 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North followed by interment at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
