ASHMORE
Morning of June 21, 1958, Jamie Ashmore was born in Tucson, Arizona. Jamie was the first of three 'Air Force Brats' born to Barbara Lou Nickerson, deceased, and Jehu Deloys Ashmore including his younger sisters Jeanie and Dottie, deceased. Jamie was a talented artist from his early days and played football throughout high school. He joined the Navy for a six year term and while enlisted met his loving wife, Michele. Together they had four children: Morgan, Justine, Bryce, and Brie. He is survived by all of his children as well as his five grandchildren: Alexandra, Jack, Jaymee, Emma, and Guinevere, who provided him endless comfort during his final days. Jamie was a remarkable musician and guitarist and his passion for music enabled him to open San Antonio's first music rehearsal studio, Ampus. Jamie passed Wednesday, December 4 at 15:11 with his entire family surrounding him. Jamie and Michele provided a lesson in courage, strength, faith, and love. His life will be celebrated December 29 at the family's home.
