ANDERSON
Jennifer "Jenny" Mary Anderson was born December 9, 1972 in San Antonio, TX, and passed away peacefully on July 30, 2013 in Austin, TX at the age of 40 years. Jenny went to San Antonio schools, graduating from Robert E. Lee High School in 1991 and from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1995, including a semester at the University of London. She is survived by her parents, Larry and Debbie Anderson, and her brother, Nathan (Amy), and her two nephews, Benjamin and Evan. She is also survived by her aunts, Linda Coker (Lenny), Jo Anne Goodrich (Sam), Danalee Easterling (Danny) and Danielle Green and uncles Alan Anderson, Richard, Larry (Terri), and Kirk Johnson(Chriselda) and Danny Lambrecht. She is also survived by her grandparents Ed and Joyce Anderson, and by her aunts Bettye Schwartz, Joey Anderson and uncle Andy Cavett, along with numerous cousins. Though challenged with sight and hearing difficulties, she dealt with them head on and considered those who did not use their normal abilities to the fullest to be the "handicapped" ones. Jenny was an independent spirit, a Technical Writer by day and a prolific knitter by night, always having a project in progress. As her brother Nathan said well, "She was such an incredible person and her positive outlook on life was as infectious as her laugh." Her sense of presence on the Internet was always positive, uplifting and inspiring, with an incredibly wicked sense of humor. Her guide dog, Burke, was at her side to the very end. Jenny, you will be missed! A Memorial Service will be held at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 3:00 pm with a reception to follow at 4:00 pm.
