Jose H. Siller, Jr. was called by the Lord on December 30, 2013 and he joyfully answered God's call.
Mr. Siller served GOD, his family, his community, and the city of San Antonio in his 85 years of life. Mr. Siller worked in the community by co-founding and leading Communities Organized for Public Service (COPS). He was a true believer in affordable housing, higher education, better schools and higher wages. He was instrumental in bringing libraries into the communities, school bonds for better schools, the Vista Verde Housing Project and many more projects that improved the quality of life for the city of San Antonio, specifically the West and South sides of San Antonio.
Mr. Siller is a past recipient of the Archbishop Fuery Humanitarian Service Award presented by the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
