Lory Mayer a Holocaust Survivor, never considering herself a victim, has passed thru our arms here on earth in San Antonio, Texas on the evening of Wednesday, April 17, 2013. She was a beloved Mother, Grand-Mother and Great Grand-Mother. Lory was born in Bucharest, Romania on April 23, 1928. Our Mother's greatest accomplishments as she often reminded us were her children, grand-children, and great grand-children. She began her life amidst a world of pain and suffering but once removed from that environment she instilled love, compassion and forgiveness. She is survived by her sons Eurvin Mayer and Jacob Mayer; her daughters Debbie Mayer and Sarah Rubin; nine grandchildren, Hope, Ivey, Jesse, Joy, Julie, Krissy, Laura, Madison and Michael; 14 Great-Grand Children and many friends she has made throughout a lifetime. A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for all family and friends who wish to share in the celebration of her life at Porter Loring on McCullough.
A private graveside service will be held the following day.
