Margaret Randolph Obituary
Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Margaret Elaine (Kobeck) Randolph, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on, July 26, 2014. She was born to Joe and Ruth Kobeck on July 12, 1930, at Donna, Texas. She graduated from Weslaco High School in 1948. She married Zelah Dwight Randolph at Weslaco, Texas on June 15, 1947. In 1948 he transferred to University of Texas-Austin, graduating in 1950 with a B.A. Degree in Business while she helped out selling Fuller brushes. Their marriage was blessed with 3 wonderful children who love the Lord (Sharon Byerly, Deborah Randolph Malish and Dr. Greg Randolph). She was very proud of all of them. Margaret was a stay-at-home Mom to all three children giving them her time and love. During their retirement years they loved spending time in Hawaii where they treasured their relationship with friends and continued to tell acquaintances about the love of Jesus Christ. One of the highlights of her Christian walk was when she and Dwight made two trips to Israel and were baptized in the Jordan River in 1978. Margaret and Dwight were long-time, 30-plus years, members of Castle Hills First Baptist Church. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Dwight Randolph, her parents, her brother and two sisters, and her granddaughter, Shannon Lee Johnson and great-grandson Brandon Meals. Margaret will be greatly missed by her daughter Sharon Byerly and her husband John Byerly, her daughter Deborah Randolph Malish, and her son, Dr. Greg Randolph and his wife, Kim Randolph. He is also survived by grandchildren Erich Christian Nordloh, Dr. Haven Malish, Dr. Sterling Malish, Jason Randolph, Amanda Randolph, Christopher Gotschall and Kayleigh Gotschall. Great-grandchildren include Ashley Johnson, Mariah Johnson, Logan Johnson, Cypress Nordloh, Symone Malish and Olivia Malish and numerous friends and acquaintances.

The family will receive friends at a visitation on Thursday, July 31, 2014, from 5-7 PM at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge. Funeral services will be Friday, August 1, 2014, at 12:00 PM, at Castle Hills Baptist Church in the Grace Chapel. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery
