RIDDICK
Mary Gene McDonald Riddick, age 77 of San Antonio, passed peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2014 surrounded by her family. Mary Gene, also known as Mia was a tall, beautiful Tyler rose who loved her family more than anything. She attended The University of Texas at Austin and studied Plan II. She loved flowers, gardening, cooking and had a wonderful wit and sense of humor. She was a past president and longtime member of the Lantana Garden Club. Mary Gene had many lifelong friendships that she cherished. Her friends came from all points in her life - from grade school through college and from East to South Texas. Mary Gene was preceded in death by her parents Gertrude McDonald and Warren McDonald of Tyler, TX. She is survived by her husband, Wm. P. Riddick; children, Cynthia R. Marmolejo and husband, Armin, William McDonald "Mac" Riddick and wife, Lynn, Warren Pretlow Riddick and wife, Stacy, Patricia Nathan and husband, Irl; grandchildren, William Andres Marmolejo, Hailey Patricia Marmolejo, Kelsea Riddick, William Pierce Riddick, Logan McDonald Riddick, Mary Zoe Nathan, Jake Elliott Nathan; brother, Mike McDonald and wife, Pat; numerous beloved nieces and nephews, cousins and devoted friends.
