Michael Louis Dresch, 66, died peacefully Wednesday, April 24, 2013, surrounded by his family. Michael was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. He served in the U.S. Navy and worked over 20 years as a railroad engineer for Southern Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed watching his children's sporting events through the years and spending time watching his grandchildren grow. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Sharon (Jaggers) Dresch; three children: daughter, Shana Luce and her husband Bobby; two sons, Michael "Bubba" Dresch II and his wife Amy, Cassidy Dresch and his wife Amy; six grandchildren, Devin Myler, Bryan Myler IV, Brendan Luce, Madison Dresch, Dalton Dresch and one in utero; one great-grandson in utero, Jace Scott Myler. He is also survived by one brother, Gary Dresch. He is preceded in death by his father, Denver Dresch; mother, Fern (Jarrell) Dresch and sister, Carol Gaither. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers during this difficult time, including the doctors and nurses at North Central Baptist Hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Aldo Parodi for his tireless efforts and for giving us much cherished extra time. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 26, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North. Inurnment at a later date.
