Pedro Escobedo Martinez passed away on September 10, 2013 at the age of 90. He was born in Lockhart, TX and raised in Eagle Pass and moved to San Antonio, TX. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and served in World War II and the Korean War. He received the Silver Star and Bronze Star for bravery. He loved his family a great deal and enjoyed family gatherings. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margarita G. Martinez. He is survived by his daughters; Mary Jane Trevino (Edward), Isabel G. Martinez, and Lydia G. Martinez; grandchildren: Roslin Marie Serrato (Joseph), Leslie Ann Fink (Chris), Samuel Hernandez (Natalie), Joe Mireles, III, Mary-Margaret Mireles, and Edward Anthony Trevino; great grandchildren, Joseph Thomas Serrato, Emmett Ryan Fink and Devi Noelle Hernandez. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday September 17, 2013 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:00.m. for a 9:30 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at San Juan De Los Lagos Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery No.2. Services under the direction of
