PADILLA
Raul Padilla (62) was called home on April 7, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father Seferino Sr. and his brothers Frank and Alfred Padilla. His is survived by his wife of 42 years, Otila Padilla, son Phillip Padilla, daughter Amanda Lira, son-in-law Jose Lira, and granddaughters Amaris, Allyson, and Jazlyn Lira; his mother, Severa Padilla, and siblings Seferino Jr., Arnold, Luis, Adam, and Irene Padilla, Delia Betancud, Melinda Nimock, Oralia Mendiondo, and Virginia Villansana, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and other family. Raul was a very active 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Assembly No. 2040, St. Vincent De Paul. He worked as a fireman in Harlingen, Texas, a driller for Raba, and as a warehouseman at HEB.

SERVICES
Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North. Visitation will continue on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at St. Dominic's Catholic Church at 6:00pm with the Rosary at 7:00pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:00am on Friday, April 11, 2014 at St. Dominic's Catholic Church. A procession will depart at 10:30am from Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.
