Reynaldo Falcon Castaño born on March 3, 1924 went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2012 at the age of 88. He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Jovita Castaño, He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lucila Castaño; daughter, Rosa and husband, Craig; sons, Jesse and wife, Shila, Frank, James and wife, Alice, Robert and wife, Yolanda, Steven, Rey Jr. and wife, Socorro, Duane and wife, Rosario; sisters, Esther Bueno, Margaret and Carlos Collazo; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, extended family and friends. Reynaldo served in the U.S. Army and retired from the U.S. Air Force after 30 years of service including time in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He lived his life as a man of faith and belief in his country and the Catholic Church. He will be greatly missed. A heartfelt thanks to Victor Szczeglik from the entire Castaño family for your gracious and generous care of our Angel who is now in Heaven.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2012 from Noon to 5:30 P.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel and the recitation of the Rosary will take place at 7:00 P.M. at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church that same evening. Procession will depart Hillcrest on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 9:30 A.M. for a 10:00 A.M. Mass at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery II with Military Honors.
