Robert Garza Obituary
Robert Garza Robert Garza entered into eternal rest on July 10, 2017 at the age of 93. He was born May 31, 1924 to Roberto and Beatriz Garza.
Robert was a World War II veteran. His unit was part of the Normandy-France D-Day invasion landing on ""UTAH Beach"" . He was a recipient of the Purple Heart for injuries sustained in the war.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife of 33 years, Mary (Trevino) Garza and his second wife, Louise (Miller) Baiza of 30 years. He is survived by his two brothers: Sergio and Roy Garza, one sister: Raquel Garza Fernandez, his children: Robert Garza, Mary (Albert) Ramirez, Julian Garza, Sonia (Richard) Lopez, Sylvia Garza-Aguilera, Cynthia Ann Garza, Sylvia (Roland) Baiza-Rodriguez, Lawrence Baiza, Bobby (Diana) Baiza, John Baiza, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was truly loved and will be missed by all his family and friends.
Services will be held Thursday July 20, 2017 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 4411 Moana Dr., San Antonio, Tx 78218 Viewing 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Rosary 12:15 -12:45 pm Funeral Mass 1:00-2:00 pm with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the charity of your choice in the name of Mr. Robert Garza

Condolences to the Robert Garza family from the Disabled Americans Veterans, Antonio Hernandez Chapter 25 and Unit Auxiliary 5337 W Commerce St, San Antonio tx. Comrade Garza was a very dedicated member of Chapter 25. He will be missed. He is now serving with the Supreme Commander.

You will always be loved and remembered as my big older brother who took me under his wing once our two sisters went to be with Our Lord. As I was the "Baby" of the family you made it a point to check on me and Manuel to be sure we were doing OK. We are happy for you now that you are where you have wanted to be for some time-with "the Man up there". Rest In Peace dear brother, until we meet again.
