KOTZEBUE
Robert "Bob" Kotzebue Jr. passed away peacefully on August 9, 2014 at the age of 84. He is preceded by his parents Robert Sr. and Mary Lou Kotzebue. Bob's first love was his wife Linda, followed by his love for the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Longhorns, and his Spurs. Bob graduated from Alamo Heights High School, followed by the University of Texas at Austin, and proudly served in the United States Navy as a Naval Aviator. After serving in the Navy, Bob went into business with his father at Kotzebue Distributing. His favorite pastimes were traveling, flying his planes, and golf. Bob will be missed by his friends and the many lives he touched during his travels. He is survived by his loving wife Linda and his children: Karrie Snell (David), Lisa Phillips, Bryan Kotzebue, Amy Staley (Scott), as well as his step children Gerald Coker (Jodi) and Brandon Hall. Bob is also survived by his five grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and one step granddaughter. The family wishes to thank Gentiva Hospice who assisted Linda with support and care in his final days.
Services
Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Mission Park North. A funeral service will be held Thursday August 14, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. at Mission Park North, with interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
