Roland Rivera Obituary
Roland Rivera born April 15, 1942 passed away Monday April 7, 2014 at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Maria "Trixie" Rivera, their children Yvonne and Scott Capan, Irma and Michael Trevino, and Rolando Rivera II, Grandchildren Sean, Brandon, Bryan and Sydney. Roland retired from the United States Air Force after 20 years of dedicated service as a Senior Master Sergeant; he started his second career as a San Antonio Park Police Officer. After full retirement he dedicated his time to his family, friends and faith by proudly serving as the Worthy Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council # 7265. He participated in many other parish activities and will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held Thursday April 10th at Saint Paul's Catholic Church at 6:00p.m., Rosary to follow at 7:00p.m. Funeral mass will be Friday April 11th at 10:00am at St. Paul's Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul's Catholic Church, House of Mercy .
