Warren Glenn Hall was born Feb 15th, 1925 in Akron, OH. He passed away October 3rd, 2013 at the age of 88. Warren was a longtime resident of Huntington Beach, CA serving as the City Treasurer from 1968 until his retirement in 1987. In recent years he lived most of his time with his son Michael in Santa Cruz and with his daughter Karen in Grand Forks, ND.
During WWII, Warren served in the Army from June 12th, 1943 until honorably discharged on Feb 11th, 1946. He received the Victory Medal for European Service in France, the African and Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon with two Bronze Battle Stars, the Good Conduct Medal, the Meritorious Service Award and the American Theater Ribbon.
After his Army discharge he attended Akron University and graduated with a degree in accounting.
Warren married Alice Jane Lemley. They were married for 59 years. Alice passed away in 2005. Warren is survived by his two daughters Karen Gauthier of Grand Forks, ND and Jane Wills of Temecula, CA and two sons Michael Hall of Santa Cruz, CA and Steven Hall of San Jose, CA. 10 grandchildren, 4 1/2 great-grandchildren and his two younger sisters Wannetah Pitz of Watertown, NY and Sue Vitale of Alexandria, VA.
Funeral Services will be October 14th at 10:00am in Scott's Valley, CA at San Agustin Catholic Church and October 17th at 10:00am at St. Simon and Jude Church in Huntington Beach with internment at Good Shepard Cemetery following.
