JAMES MARTIN PADILLA James Martin Padilla 58, of Glendale Arizona passed away on July 17, 2014. Born and raised in Santa Fe New Mexico. Jim went into the Navy after completing studies at St. Michaels High School, where he had the opportunity to travel the world. Jimmy never knew a stranger, he quickly became friends with everyone he met. Teaching was Jim's passion. He worked twenty years at Metro Tech High School, where he provided friendships in addition to knowledge and skills to students throughout the years. Jimmy was an avid sports fan and he often shared his passion for athletics with the people in his life. Jimmy had a true love for the sport of baseball, and particularly the Chicago Cubs. Jimmy loved his family and friends dearly, he will be missed by all those who were fortunate to meet him, he Truly Was One Of A Kind. He is survived by his wife, Kim and daughters: Jessica, Elizabeth and Katie; parents Tommy and Irene Padilla; Brothers: Tom (Lisa), Rick (Ann) and Dan, sister Carla; and many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved so much. Come join us for a celebration of Jim's life Saturday, August 30th at the Elks Lodge 1615 Old Pecos Trail, Santa Fe from noon to 3:00. We would like family and friends to come and write their memories in journals which will be given to his girls.
