Lonnie Delmas Love - SAVANNAH - Lonnie Delmas Love, 71, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Mr. Love was born in Tattnall County, Georgia and lived most of his life in Savannah. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and later retired from KTA Tator, Inc., as a Coatings Inspector. Prior to his illness, he was an active member with the Alee Shrine where he was active with the Oriental Band. Survivors include his wife of fifty two years, Martha Fay Evans Love; two sons, Lonnie Darnell Love, Christopher Parrish Love; grandson, William Cody Love; brother, Harold Demery Love, all of Savannah; sister, Lana Harvey of Claxton, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service to celebrate Mr. Love's life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
